1. What we collect

When you install Lossi, we store:

• Your shop domain and Shopify access token (required to call the Shopify API on your behalf)
• Product image metadata — image IDs, URLs, file sizes, and optimisation status
• Your app settings (quality, format, auto-optimise preferences)
• Monthly usage counts (number of images optimised) for billing purposes

We do not collect any customer or buyer data.

2. How we use it

Data is used solely to provide the image optimisation service — scanning your product catalogue, compressing images, and reporting usage. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Where data is stored

All data is stored in AWS DynamoDB in the eu-west-2 (London) region. Images are processed in AWS Lambda in the same region and are not retained after processing.

4. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as Lossi is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, your session data is deleted immediately. Image records and settings are deleted within 30 days of uninstall upon request.

5. GDPR

Lossi complies with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhook requirements. We respond to customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks. As noted above, we do not store any customer personal data.
